Dear Residents and Family Members:

Last week we notified you that one of our residents at the Gardens tested positive for Covid-19 while in the hospital for an unrelated issue.  In response to this news, all residents and Gardens staff were tested over the following three days.  All tested negative for coronavirus.  The resident involved was also re-tested at the hospital and found to be negative upon retesting.

Based upon the final test results from residents and staff, and the fact that this resident had no exposure to anyone outside of the facility, the health department has removed the restrictions placed on outdoor / indoor visitation and admissions that were placed in response to the positive test result.   There is no reason to believe we have an active case of COVID-19 at the Gardens or anywhere else on campus at this time.
