Dear Residents and Family Members:

Beth Sholom staff remain focused on providing the best possible care to our residents in the midst of the COVID-19 lockout. Our three residents who have tested positive for the virus remain in the care of local hospitals. Beth Sholom is working with local health experts to help determine how these residents contracted the virus. We have increased our testing of our staff to ensure they too are receiving the care they may need. At this time, we know of no residents or staff members on our Campus who have COVID-19.

Our residents are in good spirits and really enjoy hearing from their loved ones. We would encourage you to continue to participate in the virtual family visits.  You will find scheduling instructions on our website.

We know this is a challenging time for all families across the Richmond area. Please know that we are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of your loved ones. To stay informed, please continue to check our information phone line and our website for updates, . If you would like to receive updates by email, contact us at  and provide your name, the name of your loved one and the building where they reside.

Please be safe and follow the CDC guidance of social distancing, frequent handwashing and self-isolation.

Thank you,
Morris S. Funk
President and Chief Executive Officer
