Dear Residents and Family Members:

Beth Sholom is now in day 6 of our Campus Wide Lockdown to all Visitors.  Currently, we DO NOT have an active case of the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

We continue to screen and monitor the temperature of all staff, private duty and hospice personnel as they enter the building.  As of today, we have not had anyone who presented with a fever or signs of illness.

For your continued protection, we have only one point of entry open for our staff, housekeeping, food service, rehab, private duty and all healthcare practitioners. This allows us to be certain all temperatures are taken and COVID-19 exposure questions asked.  This is in our collective best interest to handle entry to the buildings in this manner.

We are aware of the recent report of a Senior Living facility in Richmond with one confirmed case of the COVID-19 virus.  We have confirmed that none of our staff members or our other healthcare providers have come into contact with anyone at that facility.  In the future if we find that is not the case, they will be prohibited from entering any of our buildings.

Family Virtual Visits are going well. If you would like to schedule yours, please check our website, on how to make those arrangements.

To stay informed, please continue to check this phone line and our website for updates. If you would like to receive updates by email, contact us at  and provide your name, the name of your loved one and the building where they reside.

Please be safe and follow the CDC guidance of social distancing and frequent handwashing.

Thank you,
Morris S. Funk
President and Chief Executive Officer
