Dear Families & Caregivers,
Beth Sholom Lifecare Community understands that the current restriction on visitation has been difficult for you and your loved one. Therefore, we want to make sure you are still able to connect and communicate during this closure. If you would like to video chat with your loved ones, we have the proper equipment to do so at this time. Please follow the steps below to set up a video chat appointment and download the necessary app (if needed).

Step #1
Please email the Life Enrichment team a time & day of the week that you would prefer to video chat with your loved one (at the appropriate gmail account below). We will then set an appointment time for you and your resident in 15-minute increments that will allow you to video chat with them. Please keep in mind that the mealtimes are as follows: (Lunch: 12:30pm to 1:30pm and Dinner: 5:30pm to 6:30pm) as we will not be able to conduct video chats at those times.

Step #2
A) If you will be video chatting on an iPhone or iPad please download the following APP
(Microsoft Teams).
B) Life Enrichment Team members will be sending you a confirmation with the time & day of your video chat appointment.
C) The confirmation email will contain a link/invitation, which will take you to your downloaded app. You will sign in as a guest user. It will prompt you to type in your full name and then you will be accepted into the group video chat with your loved one.

If you have an android phone or google chrome on a desktop computer— no APP is required. You will just open the confirmation email, which should allow you to link to our video chat.Please email all day & time requests to the email address below.
